Are you passionate about dogs and have a flair for grooming? Join our family-owned pet boutique as a Dog Groomer and provide top-notch grooming services to our furry canine clients!

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team and help us create a pampering experience for dogs and their owners.

Responsibilities:

• Handle dogs with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Perform professional grooming services independently such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, including regularly sanitizing equipment and tools.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats, skin, and overall health, and provide appropriate grooming treatments.
• Monitor and report any health issues or concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Interact professionally with pet owners to understand their specific grooming preferences and ensure their satisfaction.
• Type notes to client files using our online-based grooming software.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a professional dog groomer.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds, their grooming needs, and breed-specific cuts.
• Proficiency in various grooming techniques, including bathing, brushing, de-matting, and styling.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of grooming.
• Available at least 3 days per week for grooming.
• Must have own tools, including but not limited to scissors, clippers, brushes, and combs. Tools are to be in good working order for every shift.
